About the project

The project focused on connecting internal monitoring systems with customer-facing dashboards to provide comprehensive service visibility. It addressed the need to bridge the gap between backend and frontend monitoring systems for the clients’ services. Also, pivotal for safety and tracking reasons, we had to make sure that we achieved seamless data flow and real-time updates.

Challenges

Integrating disparate monitoring solutions posed a significant challenge, requiring the development of custom interfaces to facilitate smooth data exchange. We also had to focus on bridging the gap between backend and frontend monitoring systems while achieving real-time updates.

Solution

To address these challenges, we used Nagios, an open-source monitoring platform, capable of connecting both monitoring systems effectively. We developed custom scripts and interfaces to facilitate seamless data exchange between internal and external monitoring solutions. Finally, we focused on establishing real-time dashboards that provide comprehensive visibility into service performance.
